I’m Sara Mohsen, founder of The Nudge Co., a boutique marketing and strategy consultancy for hospitality and lifestyle brands.

With over 15 years of marketing experience, including more than a decade in Dubai’s hospitality, F&B, nightlife, and lifestyle scene, I help founders and teams understand what is really holding their brand back, sharpen their positioning, and turn strategy into practical, commercially focused action.

My work sits at the intersection of brand strategy, customer experience, marketing performance, and team alignment.

Because in hospitality, good marketing is never just about content. It is about the story you tell, the experience you create, the audience you understand, and the team that brings it all to life.

My background

I’ve spent most of my career inside fast-moving hospitality environments, building brands from the ground up, leading marketing teams, launching venues, shaping campaigns, and connecting creative ideas with commercial results.

Most notably, I led marketing for Bla Bla Dubai from pre-opening through five years of growth, helping build it from a new concept into one of Dubai’s most recognisable day-to-night destinations.

The role covered everything from brand building and digital transformation to campaign strategy, loyalty, partnerships, events, and cross-functional leadership across multiple venues, including restaurants, bars, beach club, rooftop, and nightlife spaces.

I later worked across a portfolio of hospitality concepts including Japanese, Korean, café, and premium dining brands, supporting marketing calendars, pre-opening strategies, commercial campaigns, loyalty initiatives, menu updates, digital performance, and team structure.

That mix of strategic leadership and hands-on operational exposure shaped the way I work today: clear thinking, practical recommendations, and a deep understanding of what actually happens inside hospitality businesses.

Why I started The Nudge Co.

I created The Nudge Co. for brands that do not necessarily need more noise, more content, or more disconnected activity. They need clarity.

Many hospitality and lifestyle brands already have good products, capable teams, and strong potential. But they often lack the strategic direction needed to turn that potential into consistent momentum.

The Nudge Co. exists to help those brands identify the small but important shifts that can create bigger impact.

What I believe

Marketing does not start with content.

Content is visible, but it is rarely the real starting point. Before a brand invests in campaigns, ads, influencers, or social media, it needs to understand its positioning, audience, offer, experience, and commercial priorities.

I believe the best marketing comes from clear thinking first, then creative execution.

How I work

My approach is direct, collaborative, and practical.

I do not believe in strategy decks that sound impressive but sit unused. I believe in frameworks, recommendations, and tools that teams can actually apply.
